no,mum WASN'T crying,or even close.just forgot to smile,lol.all bit much at times.
The lady,a friend of Myras makes these for a hobby.very talented.it tastes wonderful.rich fruit cake,full of cherries and good things.and so moist.
It was my mums 90th birthday today,Myra came over to see her,and to present her with the wonderful cake she had had made for her,along with presents.our neighbour Jan came in,a bottle of Bucks fizz opened,and i cut us all a slice of cake.absolutely delicious.Many grateful thankyous go to my lovely Lady,Myra,you made an old lady very happy today.And her son.
Being a carer full time can be very tiring,specially when i am feeling ill myself,but it is an absolute pleasure to care for mum,and i am glad to be able to do it. take care all.
