Hi Mort, I meant to comment on your blog yesterday. Thank you for the holiday wishes. You never have to apologize for not reading blogs and commenting like you used to. The MS and the heart is taking it's toll and I understand. Please just take care of you.
Thank you Mort!! ours was very quiet, stay at home in the a/c kind of 4th, we live too far out to have seen any fireworks though in the neighboring ranches you could hear fireworks being set off. Have a great week. Hugs* Teresa
This came from your side of the world, I had to laugh.
TAke care old man.
'Circumcised' (This is priceless!)
A teacher noticed that a little boy at the back of the class was squirming around, scratching his crotch, and not paying attention.
She went back to find out what was going on.
He was quite embarrassed and whispered that he had just recently been circumcised and he was quite itchy.
The teacher told him to go down to the principal's office.
He was told to telephone his mother and ask her what he should do about it. He did and returned to his class.
Suddenly, there was a commotion at the back of the room.
She went back to investigate only t o find him sitting at his desk with his 'private part' hanging out.
'I thought I told you to call your mum!' she said.
'I did,' he said, 'and she told me that if I could stick it out until lunchtime, she'd come and pick me up from school.'
Since blogging I have got very fond of our colonial cousins as well- As some one of Irish blood I can't grudge them kicking King George out so I hope it was a great 4th !
