LEST WE FORGET.

ON THE 11TH HOUR,OF THE 11TH DAY,OF THE 11TH MONTH 1918 THE WAR TO END ALL WARS ENDED.ALAS IT WAS NOT THE END OF WARS,KILLING OF INNOCENT MEN,WOMEN AND CHILDREN.AND STILL IT GOES ON TODAY.PLEASE,AT 11 AM PAUSE,THINK,REMEMBER THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES,SO WE MAY LIVE.2 MINUTES SILENCE SEEMS A SMALL PRICE FOR US ALL TO PAY.
"At the going down of the sun,and in the morning,we WILL remember them."
take care all

I kept the silence Mort. So sad but it is inevitable that more will die in Afghanistan. For all the sacrifices from World War 1 onwards we give our gratitude. May they all rest in peace.

I like your entry Mort. And the soldiers at Fort Hood, TX. I was in the middle of eating our supper last night and a rerun of the memorial for the FORT Hood and I immediately got a huge lump in my throat. So sad. And Mort thank you for having the compassion to care for what happens to me.
