there are things i want to put down in here. but i dont know how to start. all i know is i may be gone from this journal for a while. MS seems to be winning the fight, all i know is pain, ankle so bad i cant drive at the moment, even with a support. got 2 social workers coming next week, see if i can get any respite. but mum is not well. all i am going to say, because i cant bring myself to write any more about it. it is getting harder for me to find anything positive to write about, and i really dont want pity thanks. i shall still be reading some journals, but forgive me if i dont comment on yours. this journal is one year old next month i hope to be able to post a more positive entry before then. thanks for all you comments. take care all

Oh Mort, please do not stop making entries and v9siting J-Land.
We are here to support you and you do not need to worry about postive entries. Give us the scoop and let us support you, pray for you, and be with you.
Hugs. Ken.
Dear Mort, you say you don't want pity, so I won't give it. Just know that we love you and care about you, and hope and pray that things will improve soon. I hope things go well with the social workers, and I hope that we'll hear positive things from you soon.
Love and hugs,
Beth
AAHH Mort, maybe after a rest you can come back. I will miss you terribly, but I understand. I feel like crying. I do understand. You have been a joy to talk to. I can only wish you the very best. I am healthy but I have felt some pressures yet, myself. In a different way. It was fun but I have said to my husband is it worth it? Sometimes I feel under attack. I don't know if you have had that experience but I KNOW YOU DO NOT NEED MORE STRESS. Mort I wish you well and your mum. Please when you feel like it please visit is. Lucy

Mort:
Writing here should be a pleasure and when it is not, do not worry about it. I took a two year break and came back when I was ready. I hope you are not gone that long but only blog if it feels right.
By the way ... now I can tell you. You were surprised when you found yourself the guest editor that week? LOL I was surprised, too. It was supposed to be me that Friday but things got mixed up and so I was Guest Editor last week. You may have seen my entry in the staging area. I had written a blog about the Olympics and just changed it up to be about the election after that since the Olympics were "old news". Too funny! We both were surprised.
Take care, hon and write when you can. We will miss you.

Hi Mort. I wish I could give you many hugs right now. I hope you aren't gone for long. Can I email you sometimes to see how you are doing?
I will miss you terribly. Sending you many good wishes and lots of love.
Love, Pam
You are always in my thoughts and prayers (whether you are writing or not). Hugs and kisses to you and your mum. I will be watching for your return and praying it is because you are feeling better.

Dear dear Mort, I know only to well how hard it is to write when you are not feeling at all positive....see how I had almost a whole month away when Jacqueline died.....but rest assured I am going to miss you soooooooooo soooooooo much. I really don't care if you are writing to moan at us all...sometimes it might just help !! even if you aint writing here if you have the time or the inclination you can write to me, Take care always and love to Mum as well. The rain is still pouring down here this morning...I think all this rain is gettting to us all...My niece Jacquelines sister, Beth, sets of at 6.30am in the morning on her cycle ride to Paris from London. She is beginning to doubt if she will make it so I would appreciate your prayers for her. The first day from Croydon to Dover alone is 85 miles !! then it is 88, 72, and the final day into Paris 65...better her than me. Much Love Sybil xx

Dear Mort I hope you won't be away from here for too long as we like to know how you and your Mum are ~ so if you can do drop us an update now and again ~ you will be missed ~ Ally x
Dear Mort, Hang in there. I know only too well how ill-health can pull you down, make you depressed, make you feel you cannot face things. I have not been having a good time lately. Know that you have many friends on here all wishing you well. I shall remember you and your dear Mum in my prayers. You know, writing does help even if you have nothing positive to say. Just letting it out is a help and we do not mind if you rant a bit. Life is hard sometimes. That is where friends can make it that bit easier. Please do not stay away too long.
Dear Mort ,I hope things get better really soon and you soon feel like posting again love to you both ...Jan xx
Mort,
Sorry to hear things are not well. Never think that you do not bring something positive to the table. We all have had the opportunity to share your beautiful flowers and your many kind words. Unfortunately life is not always about the bright side. Take your time, get better, and I really hope to hear from you. Bedsides I have used the chainsaw on the top of that weeping cherry and I may need more advice. Tell your mum that we all hope she gets better.
Kelly
Mort,
I'm sorry the MS is getting worse, which has an impact on the care you can give your mum. Don't hesitate to write, if you can, even if the news is not good. True friends stick with you through the bad times as well as the good, and we're all here for you for the ride. Keep posting - again, if you are able to.
Hello Mort! Sorry to hear about the MS. problems. I will keep you and your mum in my prayers and look forward to hearing from you again. JESUS be with you and give you HIS strength during this trying time dear friend. Sherry C.
Mort, I'm always an email away! I hope you know I'm here for you no matter what....Pity you? I admire you! Your constant worry and care for your mom, while dealing with your own MS. Your a true inspiration to us, more than you know. Take whatever time you need, we aren't going anywhere, I for one will be awaiting your return hon. (Hugs)Indigo
Dear Mort, I'm very sorry the MS is being a pain... I wish I could help, I can somewhat understand it from watching my Best Friend deal with hers. And about not being able to write everything in a positive fashion? I wouldn't worry about it, I write whether I'm down, ticked off, happy, slap silly or contemplative... it is what it is, life that is :) You will be in my prayers and "on the smoke" as Indigo would say :) Blessings and ((((Hugz)))) for you Mort...Teresa
My Dearest Mort, its not pity we have for you, its love and understanding - if anyone of us could help ease the pain we would as none of us wish to see you suffer. I am amazed by your courage and your strength and your strong determination. You truly are my shining star.
Luv you Mort,
Jaynee X
