After the storm

well,thank  god  the  forecast  was  wrong.Norfolk  has    escaped  the   floods  that  were  supposed to  have  devastated  our  coastline.watched sky  news  at  6.30  and  it  was  looking  very  bad for  great  yarmouth,luckily   escaped.  but   please.tell  me  why  bloody  idiots  were  on  the   sea  front  with  waves  crashing  over   it??  putting  themselves  and   any  rescuers    at  risk  if  swept  out  to  sea.   no  comment  about  surfers.           rather  them  than  me.     wind  has  eased       but  still  very   cold  indeed.  what  we  call  in  norfolk  a  "lazy"  wind.    doesn't go  round  you,goes  through  you.

 Had   surveyor  round  from  housing  trust  about  widening  bathroom  door,seems  its  going  to  be  a  lot  bigger  job  than  previously  thought.had  hoped  to  fit  sliding  door,but  not  enough  room,so  doorway  will  be  widened  and  new  door   opening  same   as  old  one  will  be  fitted.  Did  i  realise  there   will  be  a  lot  of  mess  he  asked                              ha.   as  we  just  had   new kitchen  fitted,and  complete  rewire,think  i  sussed  that  it  will  be   dusty.  lol.   be  worth  it  though.  has  assured  me  work  will  be  completed  by  29th   of  this  month.   we  willl  see.

as  he  been  and  gone  in  good  time,we  went  shopping,as  Tescos  had  sent  my  clubcard  coupons,handy  £7.50,we  went  in  there.  after  mum  had  selected  several  items  to  bring  home,"just  to   look  at  "   from    the  charity  shop.  whipped  round  supermarket  fast,and  got  home  out  of  cold.

  feeling  bit  worried,got  hospital  next  tuesday,still  getting  trouble  with  swollen  throat,had   tonsil  removed  3  months  ago.  had   a  biopsy   done  on  it,which  was   worrying   so  they  whippeed  it  out  few   weeks  later.  free  of  cancer    thank  god. not  sure  whats  wrong,but  know something  is.

im  sure  i  will  be  fine,but  thats  easily  said,its  3 am  and  wide  awake time,  thats  when  you   lay  there  worrying.  and   what  will  happen  if  i  have  to  go  in  hospital for  any  length of  time,mum   relys  on  me  totally  now.   oh  well,will  worry   more  when  and  if  it  happens.  

lastly,a  very  good  friend  is  having  computer problems  and  cant  get  online  at  the  moment.       you  are  missed.  xxx                     take  care  all
