Half human again

Saturday,and  im  finally  feeling  more  like  me again.ive  got  a  really  bad  cough,and  still  ache,but  im  a  lot  better. time  to  bring  this  blog  up  to  date.

Thursday morning  10.30am   my  phone  rang,it  was  the  heating  engineer."ive  got an  order  to  move  your  radiator  in  your  kitchen",said  he.  thats   nice,because  its  the  PIPES   in  the   BATHROOM,that  need   moving,so  doorway  can  be  widened,after  that  good  start,he  came  out,here  by   11,heating  turned   off,and  moved  them  for  me.  controls  on  wall  in  hallway  still  got  to  be  moved,but  its   a  start.  as  i  was  feeling  so  lousy,i  wasnt  really  into  his  many  stories  of  how  clever  an  engineer  he   was,   did  note  that  a   diploma  in  cleaning  his  mess  up  after  him  was plainly  missing  from  his   C V.

Yesterday,and  although   still  feeling   ill  we  had  to  go  out  shopping,food cupboard   running  low.so,Fakenham  and  Morrisons  supermarket.  came  home,jacket  potatoes  in  oven  and  salad.   note.  jacket  potatoes.why   do  people  use  microwaves  for  these???  yes,i  know  they  do  them  fast.but the  skins  are  soggy  and  horrible.  i  do  mine  the  "Delia"  way.  wash,dry thoroughly.lightly  rub  all  over  with  extra  virgin  olive  oil,sprinkle  with  sea  salt,place  in  oven  for   hour  and  quarter,        result  is  a   crisp,crunchy  skin,fluffy   spud  inside,and  really  delicious.

As i  say,im  finally  feeling  better,even  managed  to  wash   kitchen  and  bathroom  floors,so  decided  im  going  to  pull  through.   really  does  show  how  bad  flu  can  be.  take  care  all
