doctors again

after saturdays exertions  sunday was spent  in  lot of pain         and after all the  dust  id inhaled  i was really chesty.   so much so  i could hardly breathe             and  was  rather  worried.  so much so i rang  dr  monday           and  made appointment  to see dr.M             monday afternoon 4.20           he   examined  me            and  said  chest  infection  wasn't being  shifted  by  antibiotics  he  had  given   me.    noooooo  you  reckon??  lol         ermmm  i  did  forget  to mention  all the  dust  and crap  i had  inhaled.  well  you  do,dont  you.  lol                    he  has  put  me  on steroids     a  weeks course  of  strong  ones.          short sharp shock  was how  he  put  it.       and  i  must  say,i am feeling  lot better already. 8 a day.  added  benefit  is  they are  also helping  my  ankle.  which  he  says is due to arthritis            and  should  be  rested       nodded   head  in  agreement  to  that        ahem.          so,lets hope  they  work.

apart from  getting  few  more  hanging baskets and  pots  planted up  ready  for  summer  garden  i  have  been  taking  things  easy.       mum  has  got  to have  blood test done  friday morning,a fasting cholestrol test,           so  will  have  no  food  from  tea time  til we get back from  surgery.        poor  her.

lastly,   and  sadly,   someone  who  means  world  to  me  has  tragically  lost her  beloved brother  Mark          died  suddenly  monday       only  43.       a  very  sad  time  for  her  and  all  the  family.

take care all    and  for  those in pain  and  hurting            may  you   all find  peace

What a man you are for doing to much,,,,but I suppose we are all the same the minute we feel well we go at things like a bull in a china shop !!   Glad you went to the Dr though and even better that he gave you some steroids. Hopefully they will clear things up...fast...I know my sister who has CPOD has to have steroids as soon as she gets a chill or more breathyless  so much so that she has a permanent prescription but she dosn't like to use them to often....Have a lovey day, I got my hanging basket filled the other day  fingers crossed no more frosts..Love  Syb il x

I have been taking claritin all week and today i did not need my inhaler! yay!  if you special friend gets to drop by for a visit ask her to give you a nice back rub and pound on your back to move some of the congestion. i had my autumn pound on my back and it really helps. take care!  june
