spiders man

at last  the  time had come.           shed  cleaning  time  lol               first  thing  this  morning  i  was  up,we  had  breakfast  and  i   got  on.   did  all the inside  work  first.  had  to defrost  fridge,   washed kitchen  and   shower  room  floors, hoovered, dusted  etc.          took  all morning.  had  lunch..............and  then          THE  SHED.

it  was in a hell of a mess,i  just  chucked  everything  out, pulled  the old carpet i have on floor  up,took it onto garden and  gave  it a good sweep.       swept  the  floor out         and  saw  them         5  of  the biggest  wolf  spiders  i  have  ever  seen.!!!!         now  if  i was daddy spider,i would be wondering  if the missus  was faithful, lol         because  i'm sure theres  tarantula  mixed in  there  somewhere  lol.            everything  was  then  put  back  neatly, put couple of bits of wood  across  joists  in apex of  roof, and  now  all the long canes  i had  had  to keep  outside, and  posts  etc, are  all stored  neatly  away.

and as lawnmowers  were going away,i thought    may  as  well.       so  cut and strimmed front lawn,   5  minute  job  that  lol,   cut  the  back  grass, watered  the garden    with a  feed and  water mixer that  fits onto hose pipe, all  done.       apart  from  baskets.       2  were  reasonably  ok  when i  took them  down  for  feeding, but  1   was   so  dry  i had  to take  up to water  butt and  dunk it   to  soak  it.       all  done        shower  please  lol

these  baskets  filled  with winter flowering pansies  were  bought  the  end  of  last october and  havent stopped  flowering since.  in  wicker  baskets, full of plants  and  cost  me  6  quid  complete,  from  Tescos.        another  free plug      not had  any  freebies  yet   lol

so,a  busy  day.     i  sit  here  typing  this,at  2am              because  im in agony, and  yes  it serves  me right,i  have  done   too much.         but  work  has  to be done,      and  i  managed  to get it all done.         take care all

Another night owl, you make me dizzy Mort with what you get done in a day..lol
If I'd have seen those spiders I probabl would have passed out on the spot, not my favourite thing, hence I rarely go into my shed..lol. Have a good rest tommorrow.
regards to your mum

Take care

I don't like spiders at all. That would have had me running for cover! LOL! I'm glad you got all of your work done. Hope you feel better soon.

Why did I have a feeling that perhaps you had done too much whilst reading this entry!!  I have no idea where you find your energy too, but it must be nice to sit back and realise what a great job you've done xx  Ugh spiders *shivers*

Hi Mort, thanks for stopping by my journal! Hope to see you again!

Those pansies are gorgeous. My flowers never get that full and lush. I try to have a green thumb, but it's a very PALE green. :)

I'm with you on the spiders. Yuck. We have skinny little ones that I find in the house, but I've never seen a huge wolf spider in here--knock on wood!

Take care--and take it easy today!

Sounds like you keep on going and pay the piper later.  Also glad to hear someone else defrosting a refer.  Ours is rediculous, must be defrosted every three weeks.  HA!  The Pansies are beautiful!  ..........  Keep the faith..  Hope the pain goes away!.......  jack
