summer house blues

been a busy week so far.  on monday, due to sheer bloody stupidity and a grim determination to get  it done, even if it killed me,i  decided to  attack  the summer  house.which had got a bit untidy.  thats  like saying  draculas castle was a bit bleak   lol           every damn thing had  got  dumped  in there, the xmas lights   as i couldnt lig them up in loft again,  old carpet remnants i had brought down from loft in mistaken belief  they  were  xmas gear, mums  sholley         used once     (  its  a shopping trolley  with brakes    aid  to walking, bought it years ago  when  mum  was bit better  on  feet       and  cost  80 quid  omg           30 to a good  home??  lol)  stuff i had dumped from greenhouse, old computer desk   in bits           you  name  it.  now  i have  a careful, well planned strategy  when it comes  to  clearing out  sheds         chuck it  all out         and  start from  scratch.        so            empty summer house,    i  bought it  5 years ago           with the intention  of  sitting in there  on  warm  summers evenings looking  out  to  sea, even  got a wooden steamer  chair  n cushions.        found  that  under a pile of old garden nets  lol.   used  old  carpet  to  cover  floor, made shelving unit  out of old computer desk  and  odds  n  ends              few  screws         and fix it to walls  with  brackets             done,   and  everything  now  neat  and  tidy.         shed  next             well  i  dumped  load of stuff  out  of summer  house  into  there  lol        weekend  i hope.   monday  that  was.

tuesdays  child,   nearly  couldnt  get out  of  bed         my  ankles  swell now          and  hurt         so  i  rested              apart  from planting  out fuschias  into wall baskets  and few other jobs.    yesterday  we went yo fakenham  and had  hairs done        mum  still has  hair  dyed  every  3  months  bless.   maybe  in pain, but  she  looks  good.   and now  today, and  chiropodists.         who  is  pleased  with how mums feet look, healing nicely.   just  got  to  dress in between  toes  with a thin piece of  gauze  after  wiping  between  toes with a cotton  bud.            now      i  could/ should  get  carer  to do that  and  i  know  a  lot  of  people  who  would.         so,you  guessed  it        im  going  to  do  it.       least  it gets  done  properly.          had  the lady  round today  about  volunteer visitor  for  mum            someone  who will come in  and sit and chat  to  mum  for couple hours every  week  or so              give  me  a  break  etc.         seems, not  enough  volunteers      so  have to  wait                 but  least  something  done.  and  she  is  going  to chase  up couple of   points  from  assessment  for  me.   useful.

PHEW.lol          still here??  not  dozed  off???         want  to know  about  ducks  then??          well       time  is  moving  on,ive  hardly seen  them  for  last  2  weeks       they  were  over  sheilas  my  next  door  neighbours the other  day,and this morning  they were  in  my  garden         i  gave  them some  food  but  they  just  had  a  bit  and  flew  off.        another  2  weeks or so,and  they  will stop  altogether            another  year  gone  by             and  i wont  see them  again  until  the  end  of  next  february.         shame??  well    i  do  like  to  see  them,  and  they  are  friendly   but     my  poor  pond !!!    resembles a swamp.           its  awful         so       after  i', pretty sure  they  arent coming  back,i  clean  the  pond  out.       and  that  is  for another  time  lol            because  its an awful  job.      and  i  may         have  to  ask a friend  to  help  this  year.          see how  i feel.

wendy  has  asked  me  to  thankyou all  for your kind wishes and  prayers, emma  is  breathing a bit better, although  doctor  did have to go in today and administer  more antibiotics.          talking of which,my  chest  is  still bad  so  i may have to go back  next  week  to  mine.         a  special  thanks  to  june            a  lovely  prayer  love    grateful thanks.

lastly,    and  most important. to   someone  very  special  in  my  life.  WELCOME BACK HOME  SWEETHEART,  LONG  2 WEEKS   LOL       go  to spain, come  back  whiter than  you  went  nearly.                       oh,and  if  any of  my  american jland  friends  can  help, lucy  (jhorky)  is  trying  to  get  grow bags over  in  the states        with  little  success        we  buy  them by the  thousand  over  here       see  pic            great  for  growing  tomatoes  in             strawberries         flowers           anything              lucy  told  me  she  tried  4  garden  centres  over  in  US.   surely  we  arent  ahead of  you???     lol              take care all

My goodness but you've been BUSY! WOW! Where do you get all of your energy from? I'm impressed Mort!
Your Mum is so lucky to have such a good son to take such good care of her. Nice that she got her hair done. I had mine done today and it really does make a woman feel "pretty" once it's finished. Nails...and hair....yep....that is money well spent! LOL!
I hope you get a volunteer for your respite soon. It's very important for you to have respite. You need time to do what YOU want to do....even if for a few hours.
Love your sense of humor...the Dracula castle comment made me laugh. You are so funny.
I hope you have a restful night....and are not too sore.
Love, Pam xoxox
